Aims
 

According to the ECHIM vision:

• Relevant, valid and comparable health data are available in the EU and in most Member States and
• The data have been transformed into valid indicators and information, which has been interpreted to meet the needs of health policy and public health.

By the end of the three year period:

• An improved indicator system has been established and published, and the core indicators have been implemented in all MSs.
• Projects have been proposed and are underway to improve the prerequisites of the health information and knowledge system.
• A report on health information systems and health indicators in all MSs has been published.
